Senator Larry Craig announced that he will be resigning on September 30th. His resignation comes amidst the June allegations of trying to solicit a police officer in a Minneapolis airport men's restroom. According to foxnews.com reports, " The three-term Republican senator had maintained that he did nothing wrong except for making the guilty plea without consulting a lawyer.
