8 for 2008



Sam Brownback, a U.S. Senator who was seeking a chance to run for one of the highest offices in the land for the 2008 election is about to announce,in Topeka, Kansas his plans for resigning from the ticket. Brownback made a little over $800,000 this quarter, which is the lowest since he announced his bid for the Presidency. A source close to the Senator said that "it came down to money." Brownback, according to foxnews.com, promised to spend no more than two terms in office in Washington but he is a hopeful for the Kansas governorship in 2010.
