California Wildfire Started with Matches


According to reports the California Wildfire which burned 38,000 acres of land across the state and caused the loss of 21 homes was started by a boy. The age of the boy was not released to the press but he was released into his parents custody after questioning. The boy admitted to Los Angles County officials that he had been playing with matches and had sparked the fire. This fire was among fifteen other deadly fires which ended up killing a total of fourteen people and destroying 2,100 homes in the county. In Orange County California, investigators are still searching for the arsonist who sparked another fire causing the loss of 28,500 acres and a total of 16 homes.
