This morning it was learned that Iraq will not be able to participate in the Olympic games in Beijing this summer. The deceision was a heavy blow to several of Iraq's atheltes who had hoped to be able to travel to China to represent their country. The deceision was made because of the government’s interference with sports by disbanding the country's National Olympic Committee.
