Western Kentucky University officials have not yet been able to confirm if shots were actually fired but the report of men brandishing guns through one part of the campus in a residence hall has been taken seriously. The buildings on campus have been evacuated and police are searching the area. The University's south end is home to Bowling Green Community College.
