"You study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. And if you don't, you get stuck in Iraq." Those were the words of Senator John Kerry to Pasadena City College students on Monday. The remarks did not carry well through the White House or the rest of the United States. I have to go out on a limb here and say that words like these do hurt our men and women in the armed forces.
