Incredible......Score?

This weekend Stan Lee and several of the Marvel Comic fans had something to smile about. The 2008 release of the Incredible Hulk. Although the movie grossed an estimated $54.54 million dollars, a respectful sum, lead actor Edward Norton decided not to promote the film. There are disputes over who wrote, or did what, on the movie itself with most of the credit going to X-Men 3 writer Zak Penn. Penn reportedly mapped out the movie and wrote the original draft. But in 2007 Norton rewrote the Penn screenplay to boost the characters of the Hulk, especially his alter ego Bruce Banner. The largest surprise in this movie is a hint that there is something bigger to come, something that will make Marvel fans everywhere keep smiling and it begins with one word, "Stark." Overall this Incredible Hulk was undoubtedly a little better than the last with a much more intensely real Bruce Banner thanks to Norton. Burning Down the House

At 2AM this morning Austin, Texas awoke to learn of the fire that swept through their 152 year old Governor's mansion. It is the forth oldest Governor mansion that is still lived in by the Governor in the United States. The home had been undergoing renovations for the past year which had promoted the Governor to move from the residence last fall. According to reports what was thought to be an accidental fire is now possibly an arson. "We have some evidence that indicates that we do have an intentionally set fire," said state Fire Marshal Paul Maldonado. "So we believe that we may be looking at a criminal act here." Clinton said in her address that lasted nearly half an hour, "Today as I suspend my campaign, I congratulate him on the victory he has won and the extraordinary race he has run. DNC Rules: Hillary Heading Out?

After months of primaries and caucus' trying to catch up to Barrack Obama's 2052 delegates former first lady and New York Senator Hillary Clinton seems to be on her way out. With Montana and South Dakota primaries on Tuesday it appears that she will not have enough delegates behind her to compete for the highest office in the land after all. Obama almost had a 200 delegate lead on the Senator but after the DNC ruled yesterday on the delegates from Michigan and Florida he was scaled back a bit as they were divided. In the end it left Senator Clinton with 1877 delegates and Obama with 2052 overall. But the campaigning is not over yet for the Clinton camp. Clinton is looking forward to Puerto Rico's decision and the fifty five delegates they have to offer. And while Obama has not been to Puerto Rico in over a week Clinton will have visited 48 of the territories 78 municipalities by the end. Will it be enough? Edwards Backs Obama

Remember Senator John Edwards of North Carolina? Well he has partaken in at least two Presidential elections in the past few years once as a VP candidate to John Kerry and this previous year as one of the many Democratic candidates. Yesterday Senator Edwards put his money on Barrack Obama instead of Hillary. His endorsement of the candidate might have secured Obama the win for the Democratic Presidential nominee. Howard Dean, one time Presidential candidate himself and head of the Democratic Party, wants to see a clear candidate emerge by June. He may not have to wait that long. With Clinton trailing Obama by a hundred some delegates it is almost certain that her campaign is winding down. Clinton reportedly said to reporters, "I have a great deal of respect for Senator Edwards, he and I have a lot in common … I imagine that Senator Edwards’ endorsement will be of some help to Senator Obama in Kentucky, but I think that what matters are the people who actually vote." And we will have to see where it is that vote lands. For this and other news please go to www.foxnews.com or www.cnn.com.

Olympic Issues

This year most Americans and a few other nations are wondering whether or not they should boycott the Beijing Olympics. The Olympics themselves are about the world and its people as a whole, where race or religion should not mix or converge. Only hard work, skill, determination, and competition should rule the games. However, Senator Sam Brownback is about to call on President Bush to boycott the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in Beijing. Brownback reportedly believes that the Chinese are pressuring American hotel chains in China to not provided guests with appropriate Internet access during their stay. A source told FoxNews.com "This is very sensitive because we won't be able to provide any details as to where we got this information. But he will bring it up," the source said. Winner take All

Last night Hillary Clinton walked away with Pennsylvania in her corner. A grand total of 1589 delegates Hillary only 436 to go while her competitor Obama leads with 1714. Even though he did not take first place in Penn State Barrack Obama has said his campaign will seal the deal. In the mean time Clinton heads off to the Tar Heel state of North Carolina tomorrow to speak at the Asheville Civics Center. Clinton lags behind in the polls of North Carlina with only thirty five percent of the vote while Obama remains chiefly ahead with fifty one. Let the Count Down Begin

What once appeared to be a landslide is now an up hill battle. In order to walk away with the Democratic Presidential nomination for 2008 Hillary Clinton must win big in Pennsylvania on April the twenty second. Her lead in the state showed this past Tuesday as being 42 to 47 against opponent Barack Obama. Political annalists project that if Clinton does not win big in Pennsylvania at the end of the month that it is over and Obama will be the victor. However, most annalists are positive about Clinton's come back and say that she will most likely take carry the state, the only question is by how much? Security Breach

As news has spread about Senator Obama's passport being breached now comes the news that he was not the only Presidential Candidate whom someone had gained access to. Senator John McCain and Hillary Clinton's passport information was also breached. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice made a personal phone call to Presidential candidate Omaba about the situation and measures being taken to make sure such information remains as safe as possible and out of the wrong hands. Clinton's information was accessed in the summer of 2007 during a training exercise where employees were encouraged to enter names of family members, but one chose Senator Clinton. The two people responsible for accessing Obama's information are now without a job and the third has been reprimanded. Now it's all a matter of digging for the truth as to why and what were these people expecting to find or gain from breaching passport information? According to foxnews.com John McCain issued a statement saying "The U.S. government has a responsibility to respect the privacy of all Americans. It appears that privacy was breached and I expect a thorough review and a change in procedures as necessary to ensure the privacy of all passport files." Vanished

John Glasgow, 45, chief financial officer of CDI Contractors LLC of Little Rock, has been missing since January 28th of this year. Glasgow' company had worked on the Clinton Library in Little Rock and some believe that the stress of restructuring the company alone was enough to make him run away. However, authorities still have no clues. On January 29th police found Glasgow's car in a State Park but there is no evidence of foul play. The only lead the police have managed to obtain is that of a Waffle House employee who said that a man matching Mr. Glasgow's description ordered breakfast there around the same time he disappeared. GIANTS BY A LONG SHOT!

I am certainly a huge fan of the NFL, and my two favorites went to the Super Bowl this year. So that goes without saying that it was hard to get behind just one certain team but I knew I was not going to be disappointed either way. I think it is about time the NYG's got theirs, but on the other hand I really wanted to see the Patriots go for 19-0. Now that would have been history in the making but as I said, it's all good. The first half rounded off with the NYG's getting 3-0 and then in the second quarter a surprise pull by the Pats with 7-3. That score remained through the third quarter. In the forth, it was appeared to be no contest. Everyone knew it was going to be the Pats, 14-7 but in a surprise upset the NYG's had luck on their side and in one brief second the game flipped to 17-14 Giants in the lead. Amazing game, great players, and even better plays. Good game guys and for the Pats, there's always next year guys. For this and other Super Bowl updates please go to www.nfl.com.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Most of my generation was not born during the 1960s and the Civil Rights Movements which took place. His "I Have a Dream" speech inspired millions and brought about the Civil Rights Act which President Lyndon B. Johnson signed into law. How Close is Too Close?

South Carolina heats up for the second of the Presidential Primaries. Tuesday night will be the beginning or the end for some candidates meanwhile the others will press on in Michigan where Mitt Romney has already set his sights for the GOP. Despite his lead in Michigan Romney faces the fact that Huckabee and McCain are catching up to him in the polls there. Romney had an early start in the polls and focused campaign advertisement on South Carolina and Florida early on however, Huckabee and McCain are not sticking around in S.C. They have both turned their attention towards Michigan. On the Democrats side Hillary Clinton might have taken New Hampshire by storm but her Senior Adviser was arrested on January 8th and charged with a DWI. The adviser was said to be driving forty miles over the thirty mile an hour speed limit. In the mean time though it appears that Dennis Kucinich won and New Hampshire will conduct a re-count of the Presidential Primary there. The candidates will be expected to pay a $2,000 fine in order to get the counting under way. So how close is too close? This may be the closest Presidential race yet and November is 294 more days away and counting. For this and other news please go to www.foxnews.com, www.cnn.com or www.msnbc.com

Burned Out Britney

Taking a break from the usual political news there is another story that hit the twenty-four hour news channels and to no one's immediate surprise it was all about the pop diva Britney Spears. Spears was taken from her home on Thursday evening in an ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre and access to her two children was immediately stripped. According to reports Spears appeared dazed and confused as she was rolled out of the ambulance and into the hospital. After the ordeal Spears was placed in the care of medical professionals for a total of seventy two hours. Today she was released from the hospital and will be returning to court to fight for custody/visitation rights with her children who are with her ex K-Fed. According to the Telegraph, a U.K. online news source "The singer had limited access to Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, because of her alcohol and drugs problems. She reportedly refused to hand over Jayden to her former husband and barricaded herself inside a room." But despite all of her hardships the past several months there is a bit of good news for Britney. Her single "Piece of Me" has hit it big in England. And the Winners Are.....

It's official, the Iowa caucus is over and the votes have been casted for the Democrat and Republican they believe will run for the 2008 Presidential Election. With an outstanding 38% Barack Obama won the Iowa caucus for the Democrats. Everyone's anticipated favorite however, Hillary Clinton came in third with 29%. John Edwards managed to pull into second place with just a point more than Clinton at 30%. For the Republican side there was speculation that Huckabee's trip to the Jay Leno Show would harm, rather than help, his campaign in Iowa. However, Huckabee pulled ahead of Mitt Romney with 34%. Mitt Romney managed to come in second place with 25% over Fred Thompson and John McCain who both received 13% of the votes. Down to the Wire

As we ring in the New Year we ring in the beginning of the Presidential caucus, the primaries, and finally the 2008 Election. Iowa is counting down today as the rest of the country watches on their television sets or tunes in via the world wide web. For the Democrats running for a shot at the Oval Office in '08 the Iowa caucus has become a three way making it possible for anyone to pull ahead at the last minute. Clinton, Obama, and Edwards are in a dead heat for the lead. On the Republican side Mike Huckabee has pulled ahead of his competitor Mitt Romney with a 29% lead against Romney's 28%. It is estimated that this year the Iowa caucus will contain between 120,000 to 150,000 people voting. Whatever the outcome today it is certainly down to the wire as we take a second a realize that November is only a mere nine months away.
